Mission
To perform the following tasks: establishing a system and ensuring its implementation so that the management, development and utilization of environmental, biodiversity and forest resources contribute to sustainable development and poverty reduction; coordinating and carrying out research and green technology transfer; expanding education and awareness; coordinating the implementation of climate‑resilient green economy development; building the capacity of actors; expanding forest investment and marketing; implementing international environmental and forest agreements to which the country is a party; and preparing periodic reports on the status and changes of the environment and forests.
